Jetty Interpretive Centre

The One Mile Jetty Interpretative Centre is now open and operating.

The long awaited project offers you a state of the art building, housing many priceless museum artifacts and viewing of amazing photographs of Carnarvon at the beginning of the 20th century. See wonderful historic Carnarvon moments captured in time.

The museum is an important factor why we have striven to have the Interpretative Centre completed. In commemoration of the 100th anniversary since the beginning of WWI, the group has launched an exhibition entitled 'Remembering Them'.

This project is part of 32 exhibitions that will be opening throughout regional Western Australia in conjunction with the Western Australian Museum. The Carnarvon project focuses on local identities and their families of 100 years ago.
